I think that one of my most favorite time during all wedding days, is the time I am able to capture the bride and groom getting prepared with their closest family and friends. I love being a wedding photographer and being able to not only capture emotions and timeless moments, but also to take these moments and turn them into true fine art photography at the Club at the Strand. I was able to capture this perfect image of Jamie Lyn Cintron for Naples Makeup, backlit with colors surrounding, applying Lindsay’s makeup. The images that resulted from that moment were totally different than I have attempted in past weddings, especially for a shot that was taken before the wedding. I love the vibrant bright colors that surrounded both Lindsay and Jamie in these images, perfect, creative photography.

                Being chosen as one of the top wedding photographers in the Naples area has given me the opportunity to work with such amazing couples as Lindsay and Ricky. Everything about their wedding day was perfect, which in turn means that their wedding photos were also perfect! As usual, I always looks for the most unique opportunities at the venue to create some different wedding images. I placed Lindsey and Rick on some larger rocks, and I thought that these images were amazing because the rocks brought in another element than I have never used in traditional wedding photography. I also loved the pop of bright colors that were growing around the venue, so I shot some of the more creative photos from within these flowers, giving Lindsey and Rick a great and unique wedding photo.

Ashley and Bryan were a very fun and vibrant couple. I actually thought that the floral arrangements from Floral Artisty of Sanibel exemplified their fun, outgoing personalities! It was refreshing to see those bright hues, reminds me that spring and summer are right around the corner! Every moment I spent with this couple was fun. They have been truly blessed to find each other. Their wedding was relaxing and we worked with one another to make the most out of every photo opportunity.

                I wanted to speak in more detail about some of the most beautiful moments that created the most beautiful wedding photographs during this wedding. I loved the beach photos when I played up the sky. The clouds are something that many couples fear for their destination weddings, but the clouds spoke to me that day. Incorporating them into the wedding day photography made a very dramatic wedding picture for this special couple. I also loved using angled flashes after sunset to create equally dramatic creative art photos. I was able to angle Ashley and Bryan just so that their reflection would be seen in the very large windows at the resort. Such an amazing experience creating fine art wedding photography. The day of the engagement photography session there was a cold front which is extremely rare for Florida!  Because it was a little chilly, I really wanted to play up the love that these two had for each other while also giving them creative engagement photography. We began the engagement photography session  in beautiful Garden of Hope and Courage in Naples. We played up the amazing foliage, flowers and trees. The sun, the colors of the flowers, and a beautiful couple was a perfect muse for the best photographers

                I found myself realizing that the wedding of Chris and Shelby was so completely elegant. As a wedding photographer, I always am on the lookout for details that can speak to the viewer from the image. The wedding details were something that I highlighted. For example, I loved the ceiling of The Biltmore Hotel, I loved the old enormous windows played up behind the bride and groom. I enjoyed using old world details against a young and vibrant couple. The wedding photos speak for themselves.

I have to say that my favorite photos I was able to capture happened naturally. My best wedding photos happen when the couples are at their most sentimental. Shelby and Chris’s ceremony was breathtaking. I cannot write any words that would give the ceremony the amount of justice it deserves. Watching this couple break down while reciting their vows was emotional for all in attendance and I loved the photos that came out of that moment.

The images that I captured following the ceremony were also some of my favorite photos. Wedding photographers in Florida know the importance of that perfect time of day when the sun sets and everything has a glowing appearance. I loved using not only the sun, but also the beauty in the venue to make some really wonderful wedding photos. To be perfectly honest, this is a wedding I wil never forgot and I was so happy that I was able to be a part of Shelby and Chris’s wedding day.

A Sophisticated, modern and tranquil setting; a perfect backdrop for any creative wedding photographer. This is how I would describe this Naples wedding of the adorable couple Max and Jessica. Not only did they choose the perfect day in regards to the weather, but the venue was breathtaking and completely complimented this couple. The Plantation at the Dunes is located in elegant and stylish Naples, Florida. Every detail of this very special day reflected the couple, their elegance, and the beautiful atmosphere and surroundings of south Florida. I love wedding days like Max and Jessica’s, laid back, easy and fun. I took advantage of every aspect of their wedding to create some breathtaking artistic photography moments, a perfect addition to any wedding day photos.

I noticed when I walked into to Jessica’s suite where she was getting ready, the super close bond she had with all her family and bridesmaids. To say these girls love each other would be an understatement. The best wedding photos are taken during the real moments, the laughter and the love I captured truly indicate a strong family bond.

I can’t write more without mentioning the love I was able to capture when Max saw his bride walk down the aisle. The photos of him looking at Jessica are saturated in love for her. Any professional photographer knows that moments like these are absolute bliss, it is about being able to feel love through a photo.

Following the reception, I used energy and sophistication of The Plantation at the Dunes for some true creative photography movements. I enjoyed using features around the club to create some uniquely captured images for their wedding photos. I loved the way the pool was incorporated with my off camera flash after sunset, making the water sparkle and the couple really stand out. Some of my finest photography moments come out of inspiration I receive from an outstanding venue.

Additionally, the club boasted it’s culinary capabilities “blending high-quality ingredients with creative presentations ” I can tell you that the food at the reception was outstanding! 

There was a perfect end to a perfect day. The reception was full of elated laughter, love and dancing. Max and Jessica are sure to have a delightful future together. This couple is very loved by abundant friends and family. Thank you both so much for allowing Miranda Lawson Photography to become part of your day.

   Belinda and Nate’s wedding pictures turned out amazing and I can truly say that the Sweet Southern Charm had an integral part. The details that were involved in the big day were both truly southern while at the same time eclectic, creating some amazing photography moments for me. To be specific, I loved being able to photograph Belinda’s shoes on so many interesting textures, it is tiny details like these that speak volumes through a photograph.

                Belinda and Nate’s  wedding ceremony is forever going to be in my mind because of the all encompassing trees that we were all under. Wedding photographers from Florida know that a perfectly placed tree can be a perfect touch to the best wedding photos. Being a Fort Myers and Naples wedding photographer I always enjoy when couples use the idyllic landscape to enhance their wedding.  That being said, the photographs that I was able to capture after sunset reminded me of a faraway fairytale. Creative wedding photography is a method to bring true art into everyday wedding photos. The trees, the water and this great couple made perfect wedding photos.

Belinda and Nate are a beautifully spirited couple and I can see that they are bound to have an amazing life together. Their wedding day was ideal. The Ritz-Carleton is a well known wedding location, and for good reason. As a Naples wedding photographer, there is really no other venue that creates such a classic atmosphere and puts on such a professional wedding. A couple will never worry of wedding day disaster when booking the Ritz. The venue was immaculate,  every last detail was both romantic as it was elegant. Everything the Ritz provided including their wedding day flowers, and most of all their wedding day food, was perfect. I thought that the resort really reflected this couple, the place screamed modern, elegant and trendy. I loved using their huge windows and modern decor to help create the best wedding photography.

Some of my most creative wedding photos from the day were captured as Callie was getting ready for the best day of her life. There were so many angles and objects that I used to create some fine art photography that I really loved. I have been putting an emphasis on reflections lately within my wedding photography, so I loved that I had ample opportunity to use my ideas with Callie.

The first look is always a perfect addition to any wedding photos. I loved Callie and Drew’s first look.  The dress, the long veil, the marble floor, the huge windows and most importantly, the absolute love I was able to capture made some amazing creative wedding photography moments.

The wedding on the beach was completely relaxed. I loved how much this group of family and friends could have fun with each other. The beach made such a wonderful backdrop to the destination wedding photography and the reception was beautiful. I loved the light colors Callie and Drew used to decorate everything, including that beautiful cake!

I had a great time photographing this carefree couple in such a beautiful destination location. I came out of this wedding happy and satisfied as a professional photographer. I captured such true love and beauty, and I was able to capture it in such artistic ways.
